China would really do themselves good by just giving Tibet independance. I mean, what does Tibet have to offer? It's all mountain and mostly Buddhist up there, what harm would a true Buddhist do?

The situation has become unstoppable. There is no one to control the supremacy of America. And now china is on the list. They exercise control over taiwan, tibet and also say that Arunachal pradesh which belongs to india as theirs. High level meetings are going on for this matter for the past 20 years and above.

I know that the situation in Tibet is frequently in the news. But you should read more about the history of Tibet. Before China got there it was ruled by a few supreme monks and the country was very much run as a dictatorship.
