Seems that the Japanese are either too tired or too absorbed in other things to have sex and reproduce.

One thing that this article fails to address is the very burdensome cost of raising a child in the country and preparing them to be competitive for the future.

I am sure after our 2nd baby is born she will want to give up sex and say she is too tired.

I am kind of glad we are having another boy hehe it will give us an excuse to have more sex later on haha and try and make a girl.

Interesting... It's not just that they don't want to have children - they could have had sex and used birth contron. They don't want to have sex.

I think there is a lot of truth in the last sentence of this article that says that non-communication between spouses is the reason.

Sorry, but it seems to me that it may be considered as an epidemic. I mean the losing of the interest to the normal sex. And I even remember the special term, it is A sexuality

This I have read in some other context. With the rise of stress amongst youngsters, they are literally giving up sex.This happened with one of my friend, there was a phase when he was in a deep trouble. He had to take psychological treatment to overcome this.

I would think giving up on sex may be because they are consumed by other worries. Supporting their family, keeping their job, etc.; that can have a large impact on your sex life.

I think that many people have different opinions. And it is the normal situation. Or if it would be in another way, then what all our scientists would do!

This article shows that there is discouraging factor for the youth of japan. This may be due to their stress and the hard working nature to earn more. Obviously money has influenced our life style much. But stay cool. You will have your day. Do not give up sex is what i feel. Do not feel irritated. Have it in a correct way and do not try to explode yourself. Only that will result in giving up sex.

Oh wow I hadn't heard about that before reading this article. I guess a lot of it has to do with the stress of everything that is happening with the economy and people just trying to make ends meet and the stress just doesn't let them wind down whatsoever.

They haven't given up that, but their focus is only on innovations of technology. I am sure it can also be a future plan or method of stopping increasing population. But Japanese have to be concerned on this sector.
