Caring parents.

I have read that Japanese parents are very caring when it comes to health of their babies. Every child when turns 30 days old is taken to a Shinto Shrine to seek the blessings for a healthy and long life for their young ones.Is this practiced by the majority of people?

Since the Japanese are quite religious when it comes to Shinto, I guess that they would practice that if it's practical for them.

Everyone knows that they are blessed by God in the form of parents. That too Japanese parents really take of their children with care and love as if like a God. Hence there is no doubt in mentioning thousand and thousand God resides in Japan.

All parents are well wishers of their kids. I have also read about this custom, it has been prevalent in Japan since long. Even modern people are very particular with this custom.

I have read about this custom and I consider it is the great tradition. I think that Japanese parents are among the best parents in the world. I am sure that it would be perfect if some parents in the Western countries will follow such examples.

Its all upto their belief and it is a tradition to do like that. In my locality when children start to go to school, we have a practice of making them to write a God's name with rice on their first day of schooling and taking them to our religious place. These tradition differs for every part of the country.

How much ever they are modern but still concerned about their child. It is true with every parent around the world. The tradition is being followed and the belief is that it will never fail to make a good impact.

Most people believe that there are three most important events in life: birth ceremony, marriage ceremony and the death ceremony. After a baby is born the proud parents would celebrate his 1st birth ceremony. I think this is practiced by majority of people or parents for they seek/pray for blessings and protection for their new born baby.
